♥♥♥♥ Great budget do it all DVD player
I bought this unit to replace an aging Pioneer Elite DV-45A DVD player that i had used for sacd/dvd playback. I went from 9 RCA cables to 1 HDMI cable really cuts down on the cable clutter. As a DVD-A/ SACD player its an excellent buy especially for those on a budget. It plays virtually any format cd other than blu ray or hd-dvd. It even played my dvd data discs that i had tons of mp3 stored on. As for Upconverting DVDs its pretty good. I think my PS3 is a tad bit better. it can be set to region free so it will play all dvds not just us releases.
the only issues i find with the unit is it is slow to respond to commands opening and closing discs takes a bit and reading them takes a bit.
the on screen menus are ok but have a cheap look to them. If you can overcome these shortcomings its a great player at a great price. I paid $500 dollers for my pioneer but this unit blows it out the door.
