Good DVD player and worth the money
|
I finally bought the player after reading other reviews.
One important reason for me to buy this player was that it is easy to make it country code free. I travel for business all over the world and I have several DVDs with different country codes. Instead of buying several players, I made this player country code free.
Beside this benefit, the player is easy to setup, has an excellent picture quality with up-conversion to 1080p, is easily connected via HDMI to my SONY TV.
Some things I miss is the optical interface, no fast forward or fast-rewind, takes some time to boot-up and a quite simple remote control. Some of the features of the player like USB interface or divx I never used but could be a reason to buy.
But it is definitely a good value for the buck.
I actually have two of them, one in the basement connected with a HD beamer and one in the living room connected to my SONY 1080p LCD TV. It could not be a bad product when I bought two of them. |
