Not as bad as they say, but it's not high end equipment to begin with

| I purchased one of these several years ago for my office reception area. It has played, and played, and played and still looks great, never a problem since purchased in late 2001. The picture is very clear and sound is average for a low end unit. I have been in the professional video and audio production business for 24 years and I am a video/audio technician. We have professional DVD players and recorders in my studio and they really don't look that much better than the Samsung DVD-P230, 231, or the 331. It's a toss-up which one of the Samsung DVD players I would buy now! But if you want to spend a lot of money then yes, go with a high end Sony or Pioneer, they will be glad to take your money too. |
