| We bought this product as a replacement for another Sony Boombox. We love this sound system, which we use on our deck day and night in the summer time. We store it in our master bath to use there too. The product was designed for remote conditions and uses "D" cell batteries as a back-up power supply. We keep a large supply of batteries on hand for emergencies.
