| I have had this VCR for several months now and have enjoyed it since the day I bought it and hooked it up. The sound and picture quality are excellent. After a few months of moderate use (weekend movies, etc.), the power supply started acting up. The VCR has continuously reset itself while in use (losing channel information, clock settings, etc.) then locks up (needing to be unplugged to reset). I have turned it in for service, only to be told that the repair costs are greater than the cost of a replacement (thanks for the 90 day warranty, Sony). This is my second Sony VCR. The first lasted three years. With the rapid death of this one, I am giving up on the Sony Brand. Anyone have any good suggestions? |
