Great little compact speakers

These speakers have a surprising pleasing sound compared to many others the same size. The volume output is just fine for one's personal enjoyment. I use it with my I-pod Nano and portable CD player in lieu of headphones, on the terrace. They were not designed to fill a dance hall with sound, the volume they put out is more than adequate for ones personal enjoyment. I have a 60% hearing loss and have no problem with these speakers. The speakers are compact and nice looking. The speakers are a bit awkward to carry, a little handle on each of them would have been terrific, for the clumsy, such as myself. These speakers are an excellent buy and can surely be put to good use as you can use them with anything that has a mini jack. Another nice thing about these speakers are the fact that they are passive speakers and never need batteries.
