Great Receiver, a Little Outdated Now...
|
| If you don't subscribe to XM radio (or Sirius), you are missing out on some of the best programming this side of Internet radio (don't get me started on AM/FM!). The home/car receivers for the Tao XM2Go work well in my area, and I haven't experienced any problems with reception (this could depend upon your use, of course--my use has been confined to the Midwest). This radio was one of the first to include "2Go" (a recording option). The recording option has always been a little clunky, a bit like programming and using an old school VCR. Otherwise, this is a great unit for the price that is flexible for both home and car (but not, sadly, for personal use like some of the newer models). If I were shopping for an XM radio today, I would opt for one of the newer units that also functions as a personal walkman-like radio. |
