♥♥♥♥♥ Too good to be true...
I bought this recorder after reading super-positive comments in this very forum. After 2 years it has decided to stop reading discs completely. Even the recommended media which I took pains to procure aren't being read.

Yes, the interface is a bit "involved." And yes, it's SLOW to read discs. But, up until it started being finicky about what discs it wanted to read, I made many great quality DVDs with it.

It's such a shame that products like this can't last more than a few years.
