Yay for only one remote!

We just picked this up last week. I ordered it at around 4 pm on Thursday, selected super saver shipping, and it was in my home the next day, Friday, at 3:30!
It took about an hour to set everything up, but I was able to get all our components (Tv, DVR, DVD player, gaming system, sound system, even my laptop!) set up. It won't control the actual power to the Wii, but it will set the TV to the right input.
Now I don't have to listen to my 6-yr-old complain that she can't get the TV to work or watch a DVD. Now she just hits the button for "Watch TV" or "Watch DVD" and it automatically puts everything the way it should be. It also turns off the components you aren't using... very green! The kid even taught my husband how to use the remote!
Very user-friendly in that if something isn't working the way it should (and the remote always asks you if it is) you press the help button and it tries to fix it for you.
Also, this remote knows when you pick it up and it automatically turns on. The recharger is great for not having to constantly replace batteries. Plus, if you put it on the charger every night, you'll always know where to find it!
I'd recommend it to anyone who is tired of having a thousand remotes cluttering their living room. |
