The Monitor 50 gives an extremely detailed, clean sound. Some may consider it sterile, but I prefer the detail this speaker gives, particularly with vocals, guitar and piano. Bass response is so-so for a speaker this size. 5.25" drivers could use some help, hence the sub, but they do sound nice even without the sub.
