♥♥♥♥♥ You will be pleased
This is the first big screen television I have ever bought. I have to say that not only am I pleased but so is my wife. The picture is amazing with any HD from my cable company. Discovery Channel HD is just like being there. The real test is your older DVD movies. I was quite surprised the definition and clarity that I got from regular old DVD's. One thing that I found, when I first started using the TV, was that the greens and reds looked strange. I fussed with the controls and, initially, was displeased with the picture. After about two weeks of normal use suddenly the picture was breathtaking. I guess the bulb had to burn in? For the money is this a great tv? YES. For more money is this a great tv? You better believe it!
