So far, so good...

Just got this unit yesterday and after figuring out the wires in the back (I have satellite through DirectTV) things are working very well. I couldn't give it 5 stars since it's not had a chance to show me anything but good yet. Watched a DVD tonight and the sound is excellent. Probably a little better suited for movies rather than music, but music still sounds pretty good. I still have to figure out all the functions, however.
I had a Sony unit (LG is Sony isn't it?)that was lower-end and the subwoofer rattled like nobody's business with loud, bass-y music but this LG subwoofer handles it beautifully. I'm digging on the iPod compatibility too. I work from home and now can operate my iPod from a distance and actually SEE what I'm selecting since the LG shows it on the TV screen. Not bad! I have no use for XM satellite music, but it's got the connectivity if I need it.
