Good Start to Getting a Serious Set of Headphones

| I actually bought this set somewhere else where I had a gift certificate and they seemed the best for the price for what that retailer offered. I currently have a pair of Sennheiser PX 100 to compare to that are totally awesome but they sit on the ear. This pair wraps around your ear and blocks out the sounds around you and keeps the sound in so you get a better directed effect from the speakers. They are pretty snug, yet comfortable. The sound is pretty awesome though I am sure better headphones can be had but from what I have read you will need to drop at least $100 more. There are not many reviews on this set so I took a chance and, so far, on day one, I am happy after a couple hours of continuous use. I have yet to hear any distortion and the highs are crisp and the lows robust. I am listening to iTunes on the laptop and enjoying it. I tuned iTunes Music Enhancer off since it seemed to cause some background hiss. Anyway, good set for the price with good sound and good build quality. |
