Creative's 1 GB Zen Nano is a versatile digital audio player--and recorder--that's easily pocketable for gym workouts or commutes. Weighing just a little more than an ounce (with AAA battery installed), the incredibly thin Zen Nano packs a lot of features into its small package. This version comes in gray, but it's also available in a rainbow of nine other vibrant colors.

The Zen Nano plays both MP3 and WMA digital audio files, including PlaysForSure secure WMA files from online stores and subscription services (such as Napster, Rhapsody, Wal-Mart, and MSN Music). The 1 GB of internal flash memory will store up to 32 hours of WMA files at 64 kbps or up to 16 hours of MP3 music at 128 kbps.

You can record directly from an external source (such as a CD player or cassette deck) with the line-in jack (files are recorded in MP3 format). It can also be used as a USB mass storage device, perfect for backing up important files or transferring documents from one PC to another.

The user-friendly reversible, blue backlit LCD enables both right- and left-handed users to customize the LCD orientation to your specifications. It displays song title, play time, and preset settings. Songs and EQ settings can be easily accessed and selected with one finger using the side-mounted scroller button. Transfer audio and data files in seconds via drag-and-drop and ultra-fast USB 2.0 connectivity. In addition, the Auto Synchronization feature makes it easy to transfer your favorite songs and albums from CDs through the line-in connector. It's powered by a single AAA battery that provides up to 18 hours of continuous play

Excellent product

Great mp3 player for its cost. It has good sound quality and almost nothing serious thats bad about it. The mp3 player I would actualy say is to small, if it where bigger it would be more durable and herder to lose. I wouldn't have droped it as many times if it was bigger,so far I've droped it five times on hard tile floor and it hasn't broken so it realy durable. I made a list of pros and cons.

-Long battery (13+ hours)
-Great sound quality sound quaility
-Nice microphone/recording feature
-It comes with a great converter that can convert your songs to 64 kbps .WMA files making the average song half the size.
-Fast transfer rate
-Extreamly small *not sure if thats a pro or a con* (even smalller then the size description made it sound)
Cons
-The screen is small and not real high quality but that dosen't effect the music
-I've looked hard to find a case for my mp3 and they don't seem to sell them and I drop this mp3 a lot.
-The free head phones are average for free head phones (not very good)
-It took me awhile to find how to transfer songs the correct and not extreamly slow way but, they transfered very fast once I found how to do it with there software.
And by the way as all the other reviews say there is no FM tuner
So yes this mp3 player is great and I would recomend it. 4/5 stars.
