| Well not really more, but you get the needed functionality for a reasonable price. I looked at all of the HDMI cables while seeking one for my Upgrade DVD player. Prices ranged from a few dollars to over a hundred dollars. I chose these as a compromise - slightly more expensive than the least expensive but a lot less than the "top of the line" type. And they appear to be perfectly suitable.
Although I do not have the expensive cables to compare to, I suspect that I would not see a difference. This view was reinforced by a couple of pieces I have found on the web that make sense. The signal is digital not analogue, so the data cannot be degraded, it is either there or it is not. |
