The CD player incorporates all the standard features, with support for CD, CD-R, CD- RW, and MP3 (on CD-R/RW) playback and such functions as program play, random play, and one- or all-tracks repeat play. Great product...til it stops working

I was really excited when I got this. I primarily was interested in the use of the usb and sd card ports that would let me listen to hours and hours of music, just like an mp3 player but as a stereo, with better sound quality and a remote to control it all. I got it in January and used it a lot. One thing I noticed after it was just 2 months old or so was that it started giving me problems. Sometimes it would just shut off on it's own as it was playing. Being so grateful for having a player with the usb and sd card readers and realizing how few players like that there are, not to mention the low price, it was no big deal and I just turned it back on. About a week ago, it totally stopped reading from the usb port and sd card slots. I turned it off then on, played with the buttons...nothing. After a few days, I called the "tech support" phone line they printed in the manual. Well, the guy from "tech support" as they're called, after a long series of personal questions including my phone number and address, told me he couldn't help me since I was out of the 90 day warranty period. Hmm, seems more like customer service to me, and bad at that. I've ordered one more of these models, but cx-cd389 this time, as Coby are the only ones who make it, at least anywhere near this price range. I hope others had a better experience than me and their's lasted longer but buyer beware. Cheap price...but cheap quality to match.
