5 inch FLAT!

I was looking for a small portable television for my kitchen counter that wouldn't take up a huge chunk of space.
This is a flat LCD screen-flat television which is exactly what I wanted. It is about as thick (less than 2 inches) as a cell phone and has a built in folding stand to hold it upright.
The unit dimensions are: 6.5" x 5.3" x 1.15" (WHD)
It comes with a small remote which controls the volume and channel selector as well as the various set up commands. There is a sliding on/off switch on the left side of the television. I like that feature so the remote isn't accidently turning on the tv when I take the unit with me. It operates on AC/DC so it is completely portable and lightweight for travel. The battery pack is detachable. It will be perfect for emergency situations, too.
So far it has gotten fair to good reception for my local (hard to bring in due to my location) channels, using it's telescoping antennae. The small built in stereo speakers sound a little tinny but the volume is adequate.
Since this unit is so small compared to other 5' screens and not available locally, I give it my 5 stars! Good price, no sales tax for me and FREE Amazon shipping (I bought mine when it was offered by Amazon). |
