GE DGE505N 5-Disc DVD Player description Enjoy your favorite films and music without changing discs every hour or two with this GE five-disc DVD changer. The device lets you watch five consecutive DVDs or listen to five audio CDs or CD-R/RWs (sequentially or randomly), making it a great choice for viewing multidisc movie box sets or TV anthologies. That's not all, however. Users can also enjoy VCDs, DVD+RWs, and MP3 CDs, along with a slideshow of digital photos stored on a CD-R/RW JPEG-encoded discs. And thanks to the composite and S-video outputs, the DGE505N is compatible with nearly any TV. The DVD player also includes two sets of left/right analog audio outputs that direct the audio to Dolby Pro Logic receivers and stereo TVs. In addition, both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1-channel surround sound signals can be routed through the player's digital audio outputs (one RCA coaxial and one Toslink optical) for direct connection to a full-featured A/V receiver. If you don't have a surround receiver or six-channel speaker setup, every movie night can still be the ultimate experience thanks to the SRS TruSurround, which simulates surround sound through two speakers (even your TV's stereo speakers).
