Sharp DT100 Home Theater Projector description The compact, lightweight Sharp DT100 home theater projector turns your living room into cinema. It's small enough to easily fit on a shelf, cabinet or small side table, and it can also be mounted on the ceiling with optional hardware. The DT100 offers a huge picture that's great for watching sports, movies, TV and even playing video games. It has an 854 x 480-pixel resolution that's compatible with HD video resolutions (including 720p and 108i as well as 420p, 540p, 576p, and 1035i). You can project an image on a screen ranging between 40 and 300 inches from a distance, and you'll get a 100-inch 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio view at distances between 11' 7" and 13' 5". The DT100 uses Texas Instruments "Matterhorn" widescreen 0.6" DMD (Digital Micromirror Device) leads to superior image quality. The optical mechanism of this DLP projector is sealed in its structure, preventing dust, dirt and smoke from entering the core components of the optics. The 2500:1 contrast ratio enhances the DT100's ability to discern fine, detailed differences between the darkest and lightest colors and provides superior black level reproduction. It also offers an exceptionally high 1000 ANSI lumens brightness rating for excellent viewing even with ambient light.
