Denon DHT682XP Home Theater System description Denon provides a powerful 100 watts per channel in this home theater system. Taking out the aggravation of having to choose and match your own speakers, Denon provides five satellites for you, plus a powered subwoofer for instant out-of-the-box 5.1 surround sound. For optimum theatrical immersion and sound quality, the system decodes both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1-channel surround sound from your DVD player's digital-audio output (take your pick of optical and coaxial inputs). Dolby Pro Logic II takes a normal two-channel stereo input (as from TV, VCR, or game console) and converts it into 5.1-channel surround sound. A virtual surround mode emulates a three-dimensional soundfield with only a single pair of speakers. Denon's Cinema Equalizer corrects overpowered high-frequency sounds in surround modes for clearer, easier sound. Connect up to seven devices to the Denon receiver through seven analog inputs. The receiver provides a preamp output terminal for the included subwoofer, plus two analog record-outs to connect to a VCR or tape deck, as well as a digital-audio output for use with a CD or minidisc recorder. A multifunction remote control can be programmed to operate your TV, VCR, and DVD player for one-stop home theater performance. |
