Big sound, big weight
|
| I have used the PMA-2000IVR in two different rooms -- one big and one a lot smaller -- and it was (is) great in both. It's hooked up to a pair of Vienna Acoustics Grand Haydn speakers, along with an REL Q108 E subwoofer and Denon's TU-1500 RD tuner. Since I went overboard with the system, I went overboard with the speaker and connecting wire -- Audio Quest Slate speaker wire and Diamondback connecting wire. I never thought speaker and connecting wire could make a difference. But the sound is amazing. The only negative is that the PMA-2000IVR is very, very heavy. I had to buy a Salamander shelf system to hold it securely. It's a great-sounding integrated amp I'd recommend to anyone. |
