this interface will bring you nothing but difficult times and frustration. Firstly, the unit itself feels cheap and very breakable. Next, depending on what computer you're using, it may not work for you at all. After upgrading to a new mac, I could not get the MIDI to work under OS X. Also, you have, in a sense, two inputs, left and right, but you won't be able to control the level of each individually. There's also a delay between the input and the moniter, so you end up with an echo that you're forced to ignore if you want your recording to be in sync.
In conclusion, I very much wish I didn't get this interface and I'm currently looking for its replacement. This unit might be worth picking up off the side of the road, but don't pay money for it. |
