Nice Product

| I'm an XM fan and love to listen to satellite music while working or lounging outside. I bought this for that purpose, but in order to get the best use outdoors, I replaced the speakers with some outdoor Infinity units. I love the result! In fact, I bought one for the patio and another for my wife's greenhouse so she could enjoy music while working with her plants. The only complaint I have is that the On/Off button doubles as the "mode" button. In other words, if you attempt to turn the unit on and off, you may change it from XM to FM or AM accidentally. Why the engineers didn't spend $1 extra to have a separate on/off button is beyond me. I don't have a problem, but everyone else I(wife, kids, friends) are constantly "losing" XM and it's a pain to reset the mode (harder than you'd think it would be). But the bottom line is this: it's a great little product at a fabulous price and I highly recommend it. BTW, make sure you order the satellite antenna if you plan to use this for XM. That's a separate item not included with this unit. |
