JVC THC20 DVD Digital Home Theater System description Whether watching television or a DVD movie or listening to your jazz collection, you'll experience powerfully immersive 5.1-channel surround sound from the affordable JVC THC20 Home Theater in a Box (HTIB) system, which features a 5-disc changer and 810-watt total power output. The progressive scan DVD player is compatible with a wide range of disc and digital formats, including DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, CD-R/RW, VCD/SVCD, MP3, WMA, JPEG, and DivX. And it includes compact, wall-mountable front/center/surround speakers and a powered subwoofer with a 6.3-inch driver. The USB 2.0 host feature allows easy connection and playback of music, movie and picture files from external USB mass storage devices, including flash audio players, card readers, USB memory drives and digital still cameras. It supports MP3, WMA, JPEG, DivX and MPEG-4 formats. Other features include a 192kHz/24-bit audio D/A converter, 12-bit/108MHz video D/A converter, a variety of surround sound decoders (Dolby Digital, DTS, Dolby Pro Logic II), and a multi-brand remote control for TVs and/or VCRs.
