♥♥♥♥♥ Great sound, but with one major flaw
I purchased my Z-5500 speaker set in April of 2006. I was immediately impressed with the sound quality they produced for such a low price, compared to high end manufacturers. But the system is not without its fault, one in particular.

The speakers have some sort of flaw that results in them popping when things such as ceiling fans or fluorescent light fixtures are turned off. If you search the internet, you will find similar experiences from lots of people. Logitech has acknowledged the problem and offered replacement or refund to existing owners. I had my speakers replaced recently, but the popping was still there, although it was reduced considerably.

If you can live with the popping or if you get lucky and get a set that doesn't pop, this is a great product. But for me, as soon as I heard the popping it was always on my mind and it just interrupts my listening experience. I am a big fan of Logitech but no longer for their audio equipment.
