very poor quality

| We bought this unit as a player for an extra room so it did not get used much. After only 4 months of minimal use, the player started shutting off a few seconds after power-up. It would also make a very loud gear on gear grinding noise. The unit was never abused and only played a handfull of movies before going into the trash. I supose you get what you pay for. :( |
