Great DivX player!

| This is GREAT DivX player. Phillips seem to be the best at this. Yes it is a little noisy at startup but this is because it is reading COMPRESSED files (DivX format and Mpeg4) and is normal and goes away once the movie starts. I get 6 movies (DivX) on a standard DVD so this is why i choose this player. The battery life is AMAZING and the screen is great. The sound also seems fine to me. I wouldnt buy anything different for my DivX movies. It is also easy to unlock to region-free as i watch a lot of UK movies. Another excellent point is that it will play all my music files (mp3) on a DVD. Be careful as most players will not recognise mp3's on a DVD only on CD so check before you buy! I had not realised this before. I now have around 100 of my CD's in mp3 format and record them onto a single DVD so i never have to change the disc on a drive from East coast to West coast!(I work all over USA). I then plug the DVD player into my truck sound system and use the remote to change tracks etc. Great buy! |
