I purchased this system in March of last year.
I thought since it had the wireless rear speakers, it would be great for using in the living room, so I wouldn't have to run wires everywhere. Was I ever wrong!
The wireless speaker setup never worked correctly. I checked that the wireless phone I had was not interfering, but eliminating it for a couple of weeks, but that didn't help. The wireless speakers were no further than 15 feet from the transmitter, but they never worked properly.
Another annoying problem with this system - the DVD mechanism is ALWAYS spinning! Even if you are listening to the radio, or have your IPOD plugged into the aux jack, the *&^&* platters are rotating, and they are LOUD.
Finally, it does not correctly decode "surround sound". All the movies sound like crud.
It's a pathetic system, so save your money and look at other products. |
