Poor Durability
|
It worked fine on my ipod for almost exactly a month. Then, all of a sudden, the sound kept going on and off depending on how I held my ipod, as if there were a wire loose somewhere, making a connection only when helped by gravity.
At first I thought it was my ipod, and I already started looking for the warranty information. Then I tried a different set of earphones, and the problem completely disappeared! It was the brandnew earphones...
This is exasperating. How hard can it be to fashion a set of earphones with a jack that doesn't give up the ghost in less than four weeks? I've had costly problems with Philips items in the distant past, and haven't bought any of their products in twenty years. But this time I thought: let's give 'em another chance. With the regularity of clockwork, Philips has managed to produce yet another piece of untrustworthy equipment. Never again! |
