An ultra-thin, piano-black bezel around the 61" screen lets you enjoy more screen and less frame. Its slim depth, light weight and hidden speaker system allow the set to fit where others won't. Samsung Cinema Smooth light engine delivers the widest range of brilliant colors, while a 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio renders every picture in perfect detail, from the darkest darks to brightest whites, and every tone in between. SRS TruSurround XT delivers sound that is clear and full. ♥♥♥♥♥ Stunning!
At first when I got the TV hooked up I was a tad disappointed, but being a large tv owner in the past I was certain that after I was able to go through the various options and configurations, everything would be alright. And boy was it! This tv delivers a practically perfect HD picture. Marry it with an HD DVD player (I've got the XA2) or even the new Sony Blu-ray BDP-300 and the picture one gets is nothing short of brilliant. It still has some of the drawbacks of DLP, namely the confined viewing angle, but if you're into watching movies and tv programming from a more straight on angle, the Samsung blows LCD and Plasma out of the water. It's obviously not as "flat", but for the price, and the asthetic look, the Samsung LED DLP is impossible to beat... that and fully realized black levels really shred the competition.
