Sceptre X27sv-Naga III 27" HD-Ready Flat-Panel LCD TV description Upgrade your television viewing experience with the HD-ready Sceptre X27sv-NAGA III 27-inch LCD TV. It features a built-in standard, 181-channel NTSC tuner, and it's capable of HD (High Definition) and ED (Enhanced Definition) resolution for an even better picture, with an optional set-top box. It also includes side-mounted stereo speakers that produce 8 watts of power per channel (for 16 watts of total power). It can provide virtual surround sound via the set's two speakers, and it includes a jack for an external subwoofer. This TV has a 1280 x 720-pixel resolution and 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio for optimal viewing of high definition broadcasts and DVD movies. It also features a fast 16 ms (millisecond) response rate, 170-degree viewing angle, 500 cd/m2 (candela per square meter) brightness rating, and 600:1 contrast ratio. (The higher the contrast ratio, the greater a TV's ability to display subtle color details and not get washed out by ambient room light.)
