Sony CMTHP7 Executive Microsystem description
The CMT-HP7 5-CD/cassette/radio executive microsystem looks as powerful as it sounds. The system offers a hefty 60 watts per channel and three-way, bass-ported speakers. Feed discs through the unit's sleek, single slot and use Sony's Groove Bass Enhancement and four preset equalizer curves to heighten the power of music or tailor the sound for a specific location. The system even simulates surround sound for spacious music or movie effects. Further, you can position the speakers for optimal stereo separation using the supplied five-foot speaker wires, or stand them on either side of the main unit for a unified appearance. The CD player offers CD-R/CD-RW and MP3-CD compatibility for homemade music mixes, a one-bit digital-to-analog converter, track programming, and random/repeat play. An auxiliary input lets you hook up an external audio or video device such as a minidisc player or VCR, while an optical digital-audio output makes it a cinch to copy CDs to minidisc or to a stand-alone CD recorder. Like to fall asleep or wake up to tunes? A clock/timer can be set to turn the radio off or on at specified times. For private listening, you'll appreciate the CMT-HP7's .125-inch headphone jack and ergonomically designed Remote Commander remote control. Other features include 20 FM and 10 AM station presets, full-logic cassette performance, CD synchro recording, and power-save mode. What's in the Box Stereo system (center unit, two speakers), Remote Commander remote control (model RM-SGP5), remote batteries, FM lead antenna, two five-foot lengths of speaker wire, and a user's manual. |
