Sony ECM-T6 Clip-On Microphone with an Omni-Directional Pick-Up Pattern description The ECMT6 from Sony is a clip-on lavaliere microphone that enables hands-free recording, perfect for speeches, lectures, presentations, and more. An omni-directional mic, the ECMT6 picks up sound from all directions, ensuring that speech is easily discernable even if the placement of the mic changes during use. The mini plug is gold-plated for maximum conductivity, while its L-shape helps ensure that it doesn't come disconnected during use. Small and unobtrusive, the ECMT6 weighs just 0.71 ounces, while the 3.3-foot long (from mic to plug) cord lets you position the mic a reasonable distance from your recording device. The ECMT6 runs off of Sony's CR2025 battery (not included), which has a life of approximately 100 hours. A frequency response of 50 to 12,000 Hz combines with a 70dB dynamic range to capture all the important elements of speech. The microphone unhooks from the included clip to accommodate other recording methods, while the oxygen-free copper litz cord has minimal signal loss or added noise.
