Updated codes and the latest in learning functionality provide full command of virtually all major brands of audio/video gear (and infrared-accessible non-AV equipment). The RMAV3000's large, touch-key LCD lets you label command keys to suit your purposes, and with a capacity for 33 different macros, you can program single keystrokes to initiate a series of up to 32 consecutive operations, such as powering up everything from amplifiers to a DVD player and video projector, all in a system-friendly order. With an operating distance of approximately 33 feet (distance varies depending on the components of different manufactures) and up to 12 clock and timer macros that automatically power components on and off, this powerful tool will redefine your concept of being in control. The blue, backlit LCD screen has a dot-matrix area for additional customized screens and editable labels (258 customizable labels in total), including component labels (and their accompanying function labels). The LCD indicates only the keys needed to operate a selected component. There are 15 system-control macros (three hard buttons and 12 keys on the LCD), 18 device macros (six hard component buttons and 12 component keys on the LCD), and four speed selections for macro executions.
