These portable speakers feature a built-in amplifier with 15 watts for room-filling sound. The Sigma-type magnetic circuit helps develop powerful bass from space-saving 2.5-inch drive units and contributes to remarkable performance for such small speakers. The Sony Mega Bass bass-boost circuitry provides deep, satisfying low notes, while high sensitivity achieves high acoustic output for every watt of power. The 2.5-inch bass reflex woofer (with dynamic sound duct) is important for deep, accurate bass and high acoustic output.
