Not just best for the money.

| I am driving these with a vintage Kenwood 40wpc amp. I don't think you can get speakers, that will fit on a bookshelf, any better than these. They are as good as (maybe better?) my custom built, 3rd order crossover, speakers. If you compare them side by side with the high end speakers, and want accurate reproduction, with low distortion, these will not only save you money, but will give you a better system. You don't need a boom-box (subwoofer) with these. Very neutral and natural sound. Not much for snob appeal, but who needs it. |
