Sony XMSD61 Mobile Amplifier description
The XM-SD61X subwoofer amplifier puts 300 watts RMS at your disposal (600 watts with a 2-ohm load), plenty of power for a subwoofer or two. The bass boost circuit (0-10 dB at 40 Hz) kicks up the lows when it's needed. MOSFET power supplies and output stages ensure you'll have a steady stream of power, even when the amp is subjected to high demand. The XM-SD61X is equipped with a low-pass filter, continuously variable from 50-300 Hz, with a slope of 12 dB/octave. It is constantly activate (cannot be switched off). A level control is included that can be mounted in the front of the vehicle for easy access. The remote is connected to the amp with the included cable (4 lead phone cable with RJ-11 connectors at both ends). This Class D amp features a subsonic filter, which removes ultra-low frequencies for cleaner performance. The speaker-level inputs allow for easy integration with any system, even a factory radio, while the preamp outputs simplify hooking up an additional amp.
