Now you can play your entertainment library on one versatile machine. Since the MD20H63 has both a DVD player and a flat screen, you won't have to worry about connecting different electronic components in order to watch your favorite program. This convenience is matched only by its smart, stylish design.

The MD20H63 has a 20-inch (measured diagonally) FST PURE flat picture tube. The appeal of flat-screens over traditional curved-screen tubes is improved viewing angles and reduced glare from ambient light. Its standard-definition picture is capable of 480 interlaced lines of resolution. A built-in comb filter reduces digital artifacts produced by signal noise, making for more detailed images.

Full-Featured DVD Player
The MD20H63 includes an integrated DVD player compatible with several disc formats: DVD Video, CD-R, CD-RW, VCD and DVD-R. An interesting feature of this player is Digital Picture Zoom, which allows you to select and magnify an area of either freeze-frame or motion video.

Connections
The set has a built-in digital television tuner, so out of the box it can receive digital broadcast ATSC signals and QAM signals used by most digital cable providers. It also has a built-in 181-channel NTSC tuner, so it can also accept traditional analog signals. Other connections are:

Solid TV/DVD Combo

This was purchased for my college dorm room, and it has proven to be my favorite thing with me there besides my laptop. The volume can reach rather loud decibels, and is pretty clear. When I'm watching television through the coaxial cable, the images are very nicely rendered, and its even crisper when I'm watching a DVD. I would prefer a flat-screen LCD television (both for the size differential and the clearer picture), but this television does have the built-in DVD, so you don't have to clutter your room up with more cables and wires and plugs than necessary, and its significantly cheaper than its LCD counterparts. I highly recommend this Toshiba.
