I chose the darker Cherry finish, through Amazon / Home Decorators collection. Cost was $399, with $69.95 shipping/processing
(see more below regarding shipping).
I shopped actual multiple stores in NJ (poor selection & very expensive - close to $1,000 for new stands - and no style).
So the Amazon selection/style was perfect & I didn't mind the shipping charge.
The TV stand is perfect for my new 60"(inch) Sony rear projection TV. Supports the 110 lbs, TV weight without problems. TV fits very well with only 1 inch of actual tv screen overhang on each side. So it looks very nice & works very well for what it was purchased.
The added storage space, perfect for DVDs & remotes & extra cables.
It arrived in one piece... in less than one week.
It was well padded & well packaged. No knicks, no scratches,... the doors & drawer fit well and close in one try.
It has a pre-cut media hole in back pannel for all those DVD / VCR cables to run out to TV. Also the knobs (hardwear) look nice & design/woodwork adds elegance (otherwise it would look plain).
The $70 shipping charge, it's an overweight item, with regular delivery (which i asked for)it arrived by FedEx (i think), but it was only one guy & i needed to help him with this delivery since the item is 100 pounds - so i would recommend paying extra for special delivery into the house or if you have lots of stairs. |
