Soft in some places, hard in all the right ones

This is a very nice iPod case. It is easy to insert the iPod into the very soft leather case, yet there is access to the jacks on top and the connector on the bottom has a clever cut-out so that the unit can be docked while still in the case. Access is easy via a velcro closure, although it isn't likely to be out of the case very often as all controls are available from the case.
The only objection that I can foresee is that the part of the case covering the controls needs to be flipped open in order to access the clickwheel. I took off one star for this, but it would never bother me in practical use. For the iPod video or even the picture iPod, this could be a legitimate objection.
The leather is very soft and sumptuous and with a lifetime warranty, the iPod will probably give out before the case. |
