♥♥♥♥♥ This is My Stereo
A strange odyssey led me to this monster. When I bought my iRiver Clix, I also bought a a set of expensive Shure earphones. The sound through the earphones put my stereo to shame. So I first wanted to buy a Bose, but after I spent too much money during the holiday season and read various reviews about Bose systems, I decided I had to spend less money. I then was interested in buying a Boston Acoustics, but the delivery got messed up and the system was returned to the seller. Then I thought I had purchase another one from another seller and that sale fell through. Finally, I decided that I didn't know enough about audio to buy the components individually, so I had to buy a mini-system of some sort. Well, the Yamaha home theatre systems were getting excellent reviews. So I thought, why not buy a HTIB (home theatre in a box) and use it as a stereo. After all, acoustics are important to people who buy these system too and many movies contain music. I lucked upon this system at a good price. Outside of the overall sound, the other important selling point for me was that it has an auxilliary port for hooking up an Mp3 player--any player, not just an iPod. The sound is wonderful. As good as what I get through my Shure E4's, and it definitely fills my 500 square foot apartment.
