Zenith ZDS-5004 Satellite Diplexer description
If you're already a satellite TV subscriber and you need to run a new cable through the walls for an additional cable connection, surveillance camera or other source, the Zenith ZDS-5004 Satellite Diplexer can save you a lot of time. The ZDS-5004 can send off-air television signals, cable TV or surveillance camera feeds to your TV using the same cable that already connects your satellite receiver to the dish -- without adversely impacting your satellite TV reception. In other words, this diplexer allows you to use two antennas over the same cable, keeping you from having to bring yet another cable into you house. Simply connect your surveillance camera, off-air antenna or incoming cable to one of the diplexer inputs, connect the other to your satellite dish, and it will combine the two signals onto the same cable. Then connect another diplexer at the receiving end (that is, at your television), and the signal will be split again, without any loss of signal strength. Using this diplexer instead of running new cable into your home will save you hours of installation time. |
