I ordered this thinking it was a slave flash, the description of the site was very brief and didnt make it clear (to me at least) that the way this works. You can hook it to most flashes and it turns them into a flash activated flash. I use it with my Olympus E-500 and a Sunpak 383 flash. Sunpak Digital Slave Unit with Preflash Cancellation, Multi Flash & Sync Socket
I was skeptical at first whether to order this item or not, but once I attached it to my Sunpak 383, I was pleasantly surprised at how great it worked with my digital Olympus E-500 and FL-50 flash.
